Question:
Is it the band or something I ate?

I just had my first fill on 10-3. Today my mom and I shared lunch at PF Changs. I have only a little restriction so I could eat a fair amount. About 3 hours later I had the worst intestinal cramps and diarrea (sorry to be gross)! I even dry heaved 3 times...maybe because of the pain. My mom was fine. Hi Katy, I can't be sure, of course, but it sounds like maybe the food wasn't the freshest. Definitely - I don't think the band would cause this. Did you ask your surgeon or nutritionist? -Barbara W.

There is a bug going around everywhere that's a 24 hour thing and it could have been that......I've never gotten bad food at PF Changs but there is always a first tin...sorry it happened to you....since you had Lap Band there is another site you might want to check out....the mderatot is aLap Band WLS Nurse and the group is great.Go to Yahoo Groups and type in Band Buddies.....then join if you like it might be another avenue to learn more and ask questions about the band.......

Very doubtful it was the band. Reprocussions of eating food the band doesn't like are swift & upper digestive, not bowel related. Sounds like bad food
