Congrats that's a great accomplishment. I'm 5 months out and my doctor
still has me at 4oz per sitting. 5 meals a day.

I'm 3 months out, 60 grams of protein, not to go over 1,000 calories a day.
I'm eating 40z servings.

When you had surgery, you had a 1 oz pouch. At 6 month that pouch will
probably be about 3 ozs. At a year is will probably be about 6-8 ozs.
Given that, you probably have about a 2 oz pouch right now. There are
cottage cheese test that you can do to determine how large it is, but it
isn't how big the pouch is as much as how you eat. Remember to not drink
with meals or for 1 hr after and 75% of your meal should be dense protein.
The dense protein is what gives you that feeling of fullness. It stays
with you longer and works better. Eat what you think that you need, then
quit. Remember, it takes the brain 20 minutes to realize that you are
full, so by the time your brain says that you are full, you have eaten 20
minutes to much. Good Luck and ask the Nutritionist what volumes of food
you should be eating at this point. Judy Harris
