I BELIEVE I WOULD CALL THE DOC IN THE MORNING, MAYBE HE CAN SEE YOU A DAY
SOONER. IT MAY BE THE BEGINNING OF AN INFECTION. THE SOONER YOU TAKE CARE
OF THAT THE BETTER. GOOD LUCK, MAYROSE

Hi Kathy. You are wise to see your surgeon as soon as possible. If you
have fever, or redness or both with your pain, you should go in right away,
don't wait, if the pain increases, you might want to call, but the redness
and swelling and fever are really the signs of infection. I would be
concerned, but with an open, it probably can be nerve recovery. Burning
without the presence of redness spreading and fever is really, to me, a
sign of the nerves re attaching, which is quite normal. This takes time,
can be painful, and is kind of normal. But I am NOT a doctor, so please
see yours. They know their stuff! Take care, Patricia P.

doc said my pain is just caused by alot of healing still going on in there
and maybe some scar tissue forming, he said not to worry should go away in
a few weeks, but to continue to wear my abdominal binder that should help.
