I know of someone that had problems with the pills leaving her pouch. Her
blood pressure went up, and they didn't know why. When they did an EGD,
they found her Blood Pressure pills in her pouch. They switch her to a
patch, and her Blood Pressure became normal. So, you can wear a patch for
hormones, and Blood Pressure Post Op. --

You should have any problems. Although any capsule meds will have to be
switched to liquids or pill form. You won't be able to swallow anything
larger than an M&M, so a pill splitter came in real handy for me!
Also...We were instructed that when we split pills, we could take the same
kind of pill, 1 minute apart and when you have to take another kind of
pill, you have to wait 5 minutes inbetween the different types of
medications.
