I froze chocolate drink and had popsicles. I also heated chocolate drink
slightly and added cinnamon, which made it taste like hot chocolate. There
are other ways to get protein too, like flavorless protein powder sprinkled
over or in whatever you can eat. And I've developed a big taste for the
fruit flavored protein drinks that come in the test tube looking bottles,
although I have to dilute them with water a lot. I hope some of these
ideas work for you. Big congrats on your surgery.

Buy dry protein powder and make a protein smoothie to your own taste. I
make mine with 1% milk, cup of yogurt, 1 banana, some berries and a scoop
of whey protein powder. It taste like a milk shake. If you like coffee you
can also use coffee to make a smoothie. It's a lot cheaper too.

I had the same problem. I tried muscle milk, a 11.5 ounce has 22 protein.
I broke it into two servings, added my Upcal-D and put a few chucks of ice
in the glass. I am now 9 weeks out and I still do this. I have one between
breakfast and lunch, and the other half between lunch and supper. Walmart
has the cheapest muscle milk to purchase.
