What does one do for acid reflux?

My surgeon told me to stay on acid reducers for at least a month post-surgery. You can get a prescription for Prilosec, or buy a generic ranitidine over the counter. Some names to look for are Zantac and Pepcid. Be sure to take them an hour before eating. If it continues, you should contact your doctor. Good luck!
