I hate to be so obvious as to ask this but are you still following your
post op eating plan. At seven weeks you should still be following the plan
because you are still healing. Wish you luck.

Are you eating slowly and chewing are my first questions, second question
is how soon after eating are you drinking/... next is an observation - have
you noticed an increase sensitivity to spices? I have found that if I do
any of the first 2 I get nausia or extra mucous. The observation, when I
eat certain spices my tummy just isn't ready for them yet and it can make
me extremely uncomfortable for hours. Hope this helps.

You need to determine if all foods bother you or just some foods.. make a
journal and start with eating just one type of food a day.. if that food is
ok then add another for a couple of days.. if the first food is not ok then
eliminate that food and start again.. this is the only way to know what is
bothering you.. if you eat a mixture of all kinds of foods you will never
know what it is.. a process of elimination is needed.. make sure you
journal everything from the food type and the spices used to how it was
cooked and to how you ate it and where you ate it, and how fast and so on..
if it is that all foods bother you no matter what then you need to talk to
your doctor for answers..

If you are sick when ever you eat see the doctor it could be a stricture or
an ulcer. It could be you are just needing to slow down. Remembering to eat
slow is hard.

My first question is, did you just switch from puree to solid foods. When
I switched from pureed to solid I threw up all the time. Talked with my
doctor and nutri. and turns out I healed to tightly. The doctor then
scheduled an endocscopy and made a larger opening. RELIEF....Proble solved.
Feel soo much better. Hope this helps.

At seven weeks this young lady still should be on pureed foods and only
protein, according to my Dr. I wasn't eating too much at seven weeks, nor
did I want to. However, I did consume 60 grams of protein as per the Dr's
requirement. This gal needs to visit her surgeon and ask him/her about
what she should be eating. My Dr gave me a comprehensive plan and was very
well laid out.
Good luck!

1)measure out food-no eyeballing-your still adjusting & healing.
2) chew small bites into applesauce texture. no fluids half hr before
& after.
3)if your getting sick introduce it a week or two later. go back a step if
you have too. the next meal do a blened soup with flavorless protein
powder to make sure you got your intake for that meal.
This whole thing is small steps forward. It will work.
