esophougas polyps

Well Here I am 2 months POST _OP ,,, I have had 4 cc added to my band and I dont feel any restrictions ..I had an endoscopy the other day and 3 polyps were found . Just waiting to here that they were normal .. I am wathcing what I'm eating but I believe I feel no restrictions Is this normal?    — up4it (posted on January 9, 2010)

Feeling less restriction two months after surgery is pretty normal. The swelling from surgery has gone, so you have a larger opening in your band. A 4cc fill should make a significant difference, this will depend on the size of your band. Is your esophougas possibly dialated? The best thing for now is to get the situation with your esophagus resolved, then work on the correct restriction. Most docs like to fill slowly to let you adjust without getting sick. It might be a good idea to go back on liquids for a while to go easy on your stomach. Best of luck to you!
