Question:
Nine months post-op and suddenly I am experiencing hiccups?

If the hiccups are persistent and long lasting be sure to consult your
personal care physician. This can be a symptom of other issues besides
your weightloss surgery.
Good luck!

I get hiccups when I have hit my limit for eating. If I eat anything after
they've begun I will usually vomit (spit up) anything else that I try to
swallow. I have had this happen since about 8 weeks post op and I'm now 27
weeks. Just my two-cents worth.

My answer is the same....I get the hiccups when I am full and it's a sign
to stop eating. They never last very long, but if I ignore them, I will
throw up.

hiccups can be from eating too fast .Make sure you ae chewing it to a mush
as well. Do not take too big of bites either. Hope this helps. Hugs, Kim
