Question:
Flying on Friday to Vegas!

So im 7weeks post op for lap band. Will the plane altitude put any extra pressure on my stomach? Or make the band tighter?    — alicutshair (posted on October 7, 2009)

Please call your surgeon and ask him. I don't know of anyone from our group who flew within the first few months of Lap-Band Surgery. Let me know what you find out. Have a nice vacation.

This should not affect your band at all. Enjoy yourself and win lots of $$$$$$

I think you should contact your surgeon... there's a lot of info online regarding flying with the band. Have a great time in Vegas, hope you win lots of $$ and steer clear of those "free" all-u-can-eat buffetts, it's NOT worth it!!

The altitude should not matter, as the air plane is pressurized.
