Yes, crystal lite has no sugar and only 5 calories so yes, it is ok. At a
GNC you can purchase (or even online) a whey protein powder that has
between 30 and 55 grams of protein per 1 scoop serving. There are a
variety of flavors also you can use the SF Davinci's syrups for added
flavors. www.bariatriceating.com has a good info for protein shakes. Good

I used crystal lite with the unflavored Beneprotein when I was in the
liquid phase. The IsoPure and the other specialty ones were a little to
pricey for me. Just remember that unflavored doesn't mean tasteless. My
favorite protein shakes are the ready-to-drink EAS advantEdge in chocolate.
I think it tastes just like choco milk. The doctors here tell us that once
we are on real foods, we should be getting enough protein from food and not
have to add any. I still have one of the shakes on a day when I'm laking
in the food, but I don't add any to my drinks any more.

I like cookies n cream by Matrix. It taste really good and has 23 grams of
protein per serving.
