could be gas, could be gall bladder. You are within the timeframe of
possible gall bladder problems.

When I get those cramps it is from several things that I did wrong. I
either ate too fast, didn't chew well enough or ate too much really quick.
I used to get those all the time in the first year or two, but have not had
one for several years until the other night. It is a terrible feeling, up
high in my rib cage and it feels like a muscle cramp but in the stomach.
Think back to what your were eating and how fast you at it when this
happened. Sorry this happen but maybe you can figure out what caused it
and not do it any more. But did that sound like your mother talking? ha

I am 2 1/2 years post op lap rny. I had similar symptoms one year out;
pain 2-3 inches below the breastbone, above the umbilical area. The pain
would happen after eating and cause me to sit hunched over. It also felt
somewhat better if I would lay down. My surgeon did an EGD (scope of my
stomach) to rule out an ulcer. My pain continued and they did a
lap-exploratory surgery and found my intestines had herniated. This is a
common post op complication. We lose so much fat it creates openings and
the intestine can slip through and get stuck. He repaired the intestinal
hernia and I felt better immediately. If you pain continues contact your
surgeon.
