Question:
I am around 5 weeks out after LAP RNY and i am starting to have some red cyst's on

my belly . The cysts are not around my incisions but below my tummy tuck. Has anybody had this or any solutions might be helpful. Thanks alot in advance.    — mrjack (posted on April 24, 2007)

The hard nodules I had on my tummy below my scars were from the blood thinner injections they gave me after surgery. Do you think that is what it is??? Diane

Hi Jack, welcome to the losing side. I am confused why you have a tt well before an rny. I have more questions than answers, but the bottom line is to call your surgeon. My surgeon said to me that if I were not getting better every day that she needed to know. They need to look at these things and examine them. It could be nothing or something serious, so let them take that burden to figure it out. Hey Jack. This is getting kind of personal but I thought it could help you. I get cyst under my breast sometimes before and after surgery. The doctors told me its just where my breast hangs and they get moist. Thats what causes the cyst. He told me try to keep them dry as much as possible. They said use some powders. I dont know if this is whats causing your cyst, but maybe you should call your doctor. Good Luck.

Jack... I am confused, you have already had a tummy tuck, or are you referring to the pannis (excessive belly fat overhang)? It could be early cellulitis or infected hair follicles.. best bet is to consult your primary MD....
