Be prepared. It will take longer than with gastric bypass. I still feel
like I had the right surgery for me, but wish I was losing faster. I had
my surgery in late November of last year and have lost almost 40 pounds.
It seems slow, but I haven't I've hit that sweet spot that they talk about
with the fills. Good luck to you tomorrow. I know you'll do great.

Well, that is kind of a difficult question to answer. Everyone is
different. Each and every one of us will have a different weight loss
curve. Very much is dependant on you. You must remember that you did not
get into this position overnight. You will not get out of it overnight
either. The surgery itself should be viewed as a tool in your recovery
from obesity. Nothing more. You are still responsible to yourself to
change your lifestyle and control your eating. Otherwise, you will gain
back all of the weight you lose plus some.
So, please, focus on being healthy, active and enjoying your new life. The
end goal is not so much as weight loss but life improvement.
Best wishes,
Chris

Hi! I hope your surgery went well and you're feeling good! I think it
depends on how much you weigh and your heighth. My doctor told me I could
lose 8-10 pounds per month. I'm 100 pound overweight. If someone is more
over weight they may lose more per month. Not sure though.
