Question:
I have developed a rash over most of my body. Dermatologist says that it came from
the stress of the surgery (not necessarily emotional stress) which was a shock to my system. This sounds like a generic answer to me. She says it is not hives and not shingles. Any one else out there have this problem? — MVitale (posted on December 26, 2006)

Well, I have had skin problems for years but one thing I did discover was
that when my B vitamins are low, my skin goes on strike in a big way. I
couldn't figure it out, but for some reason started reading about
pantothenic acid (I think that's B6 or maybe B5) and how large doses can
treat acne. Then it hit me that I had been running low on B12 in the past.
So anytime I have an eruption, I up my B's and my skin gets better. Also,
you can try the Olay Total Effects face cream - it has B vitamins in it and
it has always done a tremendous job on my skin. Give it a try and see if
that doesn't help a bit! Good luck!

I would agree with previous reply. Your skin had been drenching in fats
and oils we had consumed. Now you have depleated that from your diet and I
don't care how many vitamins you take, your skin doesn't get enough. I
recently bought a jar of Dead Sea Salts in mineral oil. I got it at a mall
before xmas. It pulls the dead skin cells off completely and the mineral
oil goes into the skin because the sea salt opens the poars. I use it all
over, carefull on tender areas. It is expensive but the results were
dramatic. Interested? email me, I will get the name of it.
