Question:
Has any of the females been pregnant or had children since the surgery??

Hello Chavisty, I gave birth to a beautiful and healthy daughter 2 months ago, her pictures are on my profile. There is a huge population of post-op moms and you can communicate with us at the Post-Op Pregnancy forum http://obesityhelp.com/forums/postop_pregnancy/ .... I hope this helps.

Yes, there are tons of post-op moms and moms-to-be. I gave birth to twins (boy/girl) on August 12. I had a perfect pregnancy, no complications. I carried them until 39 weeks and my boy weighed 7lbs 8 oz and the girl was 6lbs 15oz. Both are perfectly healthy and growing like weeds.

Dear Chavisty: I know of four ladies who have gotten preganant and did quite well. The babies are very healthy. They had to work extra hard with their supplements but everything was fine. My surgeon encourages ladies to wait 18 months to two years post-op before they try to have children. Yours on the Journey, Al Soto [email protected]

Hi there, I too had a healthy baby post-op. He weighed almost 8 pounds and it was a much easier, smoother pregnancy than my first one. I really recommend checking into the post-op pregnancy forum on here. THe ladies really are a tremendous help to each other! Hugs! Christie
