Question:
I'm from Texas and I can tell you plenty of receipes for beef .
But I just got a hugh smoked salmon for a Christmas present and I don't know what to do with it. Any suggestions? — MARSHA D. (posted on December 18, 2002)

Smoked Salmon on toast points is really good-full of protein! You can also
mix it in a green salad with some onion and tomato..yum.

My mom used to make the best "salmon croquettes". It was a
simple recipe, but I don't know what it is. Try doing a recipe search for
salmon croquettes on the foodnetwork.com
and see if you can get a good simple recipe.

Send it to me!! I love salmon. I eat salmon cooked, smoked, brined, and
best of all RAW! If it's smoked.. all you need is a fork! FYI.. there is
two types of smoking.. cold and hot smoked. If it's cold smoked then it
still considered raw while hot smoking will cook it.

Smoked salmon can just be eaten as is as your protein. You could also mix
with a cream cheese substitute for a spread/dip with vegetables.
