Question:
Hi friend's did anyone else take a really long time to feel pretty much back to normal?

i friend's this site has been so helpful through this journey of mine.I just wanted to know i am 7 months post op almost from a gastric bypass and still feel sore and ache sometimes in the belly also i don't feel really like i am back to normal again did anyone else take a really long time to feel pretty much back to normal? there are still alot of things that hurt my stomach.will there ever be a time when i can pretty much eat anything i want and not worry if it is going to hurt or not? like maybe in a coulple of years or something? from kim.    — KIM B. As I recall, I didn't feel "back to normal" until about 12 months post-op. Now, though, at 18 months post-op, I have completely recovered and can eat a little bit of just about everything I want. (with the exception of Chinese fried tofu!!) LOL Don't worry ... it does get better, very slowly.
