DEfinately will!! I am only 7 weeks post-op, down 40 pounds, but i am
enjoying food. I have also been very lucky with and have not dumped nor
vomited from many things. I have been able to eat chicken, fish, beef,
peanuts, PNB, cheeses and many other things. And if i get a craving for
sweets, i take one bite and my craving is gone, b/c that is all I need, one
bite, ya know? If you need help, you can e-mail me. I'm by no means an
expert, but would be glad to help! :) ([email protected])

Kim, I totally know what you mean...before I had this surgery, good tasty
food was a high for me at times, because it was a comfort....now I don't
have that.....but I'm really glad, because isn't that the point of the
surgery, to change the habit to ...eating to live not living to eat.....it
gets me upset sometimes, when my eating pattern gets so boring, but then I
stop and think, why is this bothering me, I don't need food for a quick fix
to make me happy, I have other things now, like fitting into smaller pants
for one! Keep that in mind! Hope this helps. :)

Kim, boy can I relate to you!! I'm 7 1/2 mos. out and I was JUST LIKE YOU.
I didn't feel like eating because I just didn't LIKE anything. When I did
find something I liked, I ate it for weeks and weeks, until I was so sick
of it I HAD to find something else. I posted questions on here 2 or 3 times
about it. Everyone told me :it is normal", "Enjoy this phase
cause it is when you will lose the most weight". So I listened to
everyone and just relaxed. It must have happened around month 6, FINALLY,
that I got my taste for food back. There are still a lot of things that I
don't like, but atleast I have a selection now. ( I lived on Wendy's chili
for atleast 2 months!) Your tastes should be returning very soon. Hang in
there!
