Question:
I am about 3 month post-op.
I wrenched my back last saturday and the pain has really set in. I know I can't take ibuprofen so I want to go see my Chiropractor. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me? — MARSHA D. (posted on December 4, 2001)

I threw out my back two weeks post op, and went to see my PCP. He gave me
a few samples of Celebrex and Skelaxin and they did the trick.

I think they played pretzel with my body after my revision. I was at the
chiro by 5 days post-op. He uses the gentle technique, and was mindful of
my being so fresh. It was fine. The surgeon's response was to give me
more pain meds, but I just wanted to be FIXED. That was sweet of him to
offer, but the chiro adjusted the kink right out.

I am 4 months post-op and have been going to my chiropractor since the 2nd
week. I am happy to say that since I've lost weight (#77) I do not throw
my back out very much anymore.
