Question:
I'm 2 yrs. out RNY I've lost 1/2 of me 117 lbs. and I feel great!
However, I feel I can eat and eat and eat and still not be full. I think I've stretched my pouch has anyone else felt like this and if so what did you do? Also, has anyone did the 5-day pouch test and had success — * S. (posted on July 22, 2010)

I am 2 1/2yr out and have gained about 7lbs, I lost a total of 120, I feel
the same way I am eating things that i should not eat because they do not
make me ill, but i am not able to eat a full meal, so i do not think my
pouch has stretched, but I need to get back focused. i would like to try
the test to be certain that i have not stretched it Glad to know i am not
alone.

Hi ! Congrats! I,too, am 2 years out and have lost half of me. 130 lbs
and currently weigh 110. I am having a hard time keeping weight on, but its
an issue not related to eating as much as behavioral. I exercise too much.
I measure outmy food or weigh it..this helps to keep me in line. When its
gone, i'm done! I find that if i carbs, the next day i am hungrier, so I
avoid carbs when I can. I drink a lot of fluids..any where from 80 to 130
ounces. It helps fill the belly. good luck! hugs,Kim

Kim's reply to you sounds just like me, I too am having a hard time keeping
weight on. I also agree with her about the carbs, I try to limit my carbs.
The only difference between her and me is that I can't tolerate meat. I
also measure everything!!!!!
I went through hell and back with having this procedure and nothing tastes
as good as thin looks.
Good luck

I am just two years out and have run into this same sensatin of not feeling
full with food. I can eat more than ever. I am finding that I am adding
more fruit and veg but the feeling of being full just is missing. I do a
lot more planning of what I will eat. It is a scary thing but the pouch
still apears to be working.
It is more an issue of it has healed and some of what I used as a signal to
stop eating has stopped due to the healing. Now I am learning other ways
to know when to stop.

I just want to add my congratulations to you for your success. I'm just
shy by a few days for being 5 years out. I did it and never looked back. (
There was less to see anyway. :)) )
Good for you. I am so glad for your happiness.
