Question:
This is in response to Linda819
I tried to respond to her question, but kept getting an error message. In any case, as to the expense of protein drinks and vitamins, I order Unjury and Vemma on line and save my receipts as deductibles on my income taxes. It really helps! Mary — mkblan (posted on April 19, 2010)

This message is for Mary. I'm curious about writing off protein drinks.
Is it considered a medical expense? Tell me more please! Lord knows I've
been paying a fortune for this stuff. I wonder if I can use it on my cafe
plan (unreimbursed medical plan). They wouldn't approve my vitamins
without a written notice from my dr saying that they were required. Thanks
much! Kristin

I know that's right! I tried ordering it using my VISA card from my HSA
and the website would not accept it. I will try to call it next time.
Unjury is a Godsend! It is definitely much milder than what is over the
counter.
