Question:
Reversable question
I am scheduled for RNY surgery tomorrow afternoon. I have been reading a complication website, and it's got me kinda of scared. I hear a lot of people having major complications, and losing to much weight...Is there ever a way to go back to a "regular" stomach again after surgery?? Hi. Not sure what date you posted this, but you should never go into the
surgery with the thought that you will want to have it reversed
good luck

Yes, in extreme situations it can be reversed. You won't need that though.
Quit worrying, you've made the best decision. Best success.

I drove myself crazy with the complication stories. If you are truly
scared, postpone your surgery until you talk to your surgeon. If you are
determined to have it, like I was, then go for it. You won't regret it.
I am seven weeks out and doing great. I did have a complication, but that
is me. I'm always in the 1% who will expierance some form of complication.
Even during my pregnancies and I have four wonderfully healthy children.
I'm not saying that to scare you. You have to go into this with a positve
attitude and not thinking that you are going to die from it. If your
insurance and surgeon didn't think you were a good candidate for this
surgery, they wouldn't have scheduled you for it.
Good luck! Let us know how you are!
