have you taken a pregnancy test? that will be your first order of duty. i
don't think that it is advised to have a baby less than 18 months out but
it has been done. you should contact your doctor to discuss.

First of all, anytime you take another medication with b/c/p it lowers the
effective percentage because the meds will cling to the cells or meds that
you are taking and not do there job. You should always use a backup method
when taking another med with b/c/p. I have seen quite a few women on this
website become pregnant after losing some weight, but I can only say don't
worry until you know for sure. So take a test from your pcp so it is
accurate, then cross that bridge when you get to it. In the meantime, talk
to your surgeon about the pros and cons about getting pregnant 6.5 months
post op. That way you don't worry for nothing. Stress is a trigger for
eating. Best wishes. Congrats on your w/l, that is great. Keep us
posted.

I know someone who got pregnant a few months out..all is going well..she is
due next month. What the dr's will/should tell you is that you have to
forget about the rules after surgery...she has to eat more than she
normally would have after surgery to make sure the baby gets enough...talk
to your surgeons office. This happens more than you know.

You can be ok with having a baby. Sure it is better to wait but don't
worry. Eat careful and take your vitamins. Let your doctor tell you what
special steps you may need.

Well, assuming you are pregnant-then you are and congrats to you and
daddy!!! I know it isn't advised this early, but you must inlist the help
of your dietician, surgeon, and ob. It will be a challenge, but I'm sure
there are things you can do to make sure you have the healthiest baby
possible. As incredible as losing weight has been for me, it is NOTHING
compared to having a baby!!!
