Question:
Has anyone in NJ who have the ins. BCBS had a lower body lift covered by insurance?

I had gastric bypass over 6 years ago(started at 258 got down to 143 now up to 165)and have bad hanging lumpy skin on my thighs and arms. Has anyone have had BCBS of NJ pay for their lower body lift or arms? If not the lower body lift was there ANYTHING that the insurance company approved?Also, what plastic surgeon performed the surgery? Please help!    — bleachmama (posted on March 23, 2009)

When I rec'vd my apprvl. letter it stated that these type of surgeries are cosmetic and will not be covered. I would recommend Dr. Sanjay Lala of West Orange; He did a surgery for me two years ago. Excellent work!! Good Luck
