I agree with denise. CONGRATULATIONS on the 100 pounds. if you are
discouraged and want to lose more weight, then sit back and evaluate what
you are doing, drink your water, exercise, and follow your program. Sounds
like you are doing great though. hugs, Cora

What do you mean by asking what is wrong ? Your doing fantastic at 100lbs
weight loss. Some people don't even lose that in 2 years. If you want to
lose more weight you must evulate what your doing and no one can do it but
you. I think your doing fantastic.

You did great! This is the average amount of weight loss with GB and you
did it! You can continue to lose...It's harder, but not impossible. To
lose a lb a week, cut 500 calories a day...to double that, step up your
exercise too! My weight loss stopped dead at 158lbs and climbed up to 165
lbs at about 15-18 mos post op...I've weighed an average of 165 lbs ever
since (within a few pounds either way) for almost 5 years now...Some of us
are just not supposed to be itty bitty...I'm quite happy up here at
165...Be proud, you did well sweetie!

I'm going to say pretty much the same thing as everyone else...100 lbs is
fantastic! What are you complaining about?? I know that you may not be
where you want to be but you should think about your daily routine.
Do you exercise regularly? Even walking an extra 30 minutes a couple times
a week can make a big difference. I know that we all need encouragement,
but this is not like you have failed, at all!
Make sure that you are eating the proper things and not snacking on
anything that you shouldn't be. Every little thing counts, remember that.
You are the one with the power over your destiny and what you lose, just do
your best and that's all that you can do. Don't beat yourself up over it,
just keep at it and you WILL see that you can do it.
Good luck to you.

You are kidding right? You should be celebrating your progress. I had my
RNY 12/12/07 and I have lost 85 pounds and my surgeon seems very please as
am I. I have 15 more to lose and have been at a bit of a plateau but it
because I have not been following all of the rules like I did in the
beginning. I will recommend to you the same thing that you would recommend
to me if I was asking you the same questions......water, protein, exercise,
small meals, stop when satisified not full, no bad carbs, no slider foods.
But whatever you do, do not sabotage yourself or discount your success.
Remind yourself often of where you were. Take out those old pictures.
Pictures do not lie. Keep in mind too that 8-10 pounds average per month
is excellent. You need to be proud and move forward.
