Question:
hiccups/foaming
I just had another adjustment, post op 31 pounds. But this time I have a lot of saliva, and my protien food will not go down as easy. On a positive note I feel full longer. Any suggestions on better food choices — savoy7658 (posted on November 17, 2008)

Foaming will eventually stop; that's the good news. The bad news there is
no way of telling when. What I used to do was make chicken boullion and let
it cool. Try what works for you. lukewarm worked for me, and stopped the
foaming. Cold never worked for me, but everyone is different. Is there
something particular that starts the foaming? Keep a Journal to see if it
is a combo of meals also. You can switch up to protein shakes, if you can
keep them down; and let your Doctor know if you drop a source of protein
and add another.

How many days after your fill has it been? If it is just a couple of days,
perhaps you are just swollen a little from the adjustment and it will get
better. If it continues and you have a problem with getting the protein
down, you may need to get a little bit of an unfill. In the meantime, hot
tea or hot coffee will help to open the stoma a little before eating.
Take it easy and continue to focus on protein, good luck.
