Question:
lap band fills

I had lap band on 12-11-06 and have had two fills.. I am due have my next fill on the 9th. Right now I have 1 1/2 cc in my band.. I have not had very much restriction yet. Can anyone tell me how many cc's it takes to have have that feeling of being restricted when I eat.. I do feel some restriction now but not much.    — willish (posted on April 1, 2008)

I think everyone's different. My surg. was 12/4 and I felt the same way until my 3rd fill, which totaled 2.8cc. Since then I've been losing 2-3lbs /wk. Be patient. I know some people who were overfilled and had to start over.

There are several different sizeses of bands and the position which will effect the cc amount, each person is different, I am 7 month post op 120 pounds down and have had 5 fills, just keep going in and keep using the tool.

The amount of restriction needed varies. Some start off without needing a fill. I needed 4.

Hi everyone is different, I had my surgery 9/25/07 and have had 5 fills, so just hang in there....
