Question:
Live on central coast need to find surgeon that takes medi-cal
I know it has been asked before but it has been quite awhile ago, the Dr. I was going to go through in Santa Barbara suddenly stopped taking medi-cal patients. I need to find one and I don't mind if I have to travel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time — cocosmama (posted on March 6, 2008)

Hi,
Many times you can get referals to physicians by calling your local
hospital. If you're looking for a bariatric physician you can find lists
of physicians through Bariatric centers of excellence or on the web. I
found my current physician by just asking local friends if they recommend
anyone. Best wishes.

Hi Jean, I know my doctor (in Fresno) has an office in Pismo beach. I
think he is there about twice a month. I don't know about the Medi-Cal,
but it is worth a phone call. He is a wonderful surgeon and I have been
please with the entire experience.
The Fresno phone number is 559-431-thin! His OH link is:

His personal website is:

Good luck!!
