You will always have plateus but if you are working out 4 times a week you
may be losing inches but gaining muscle. This is not a bad thing. You don't
say how long you have been stuck but just stay with it! You are doing
fantastic!

everyone gets "stuck" occasionally. We get to a plateau where we
seem to lose nothing. I had a plateau that lasted 4 weeks one time. all of
a sudden i took off 10 lbs without realizing it. Give yourelf time and
just keep doing what you're supposed to be at this point. And don't worry,
you'll start losing again.

Amy is soo right, we will always have stalls, I had one just about 5
months and boy it was rough trying not to panic.
I can not exercise yet but I "shook" up my eating. First I added
a few calories and more protein for a couple of days, then lowered it back
down again and the scale started moving again. Not as fast but moving.
Good Luck and Keep on keeping on!

If this is a true plateau, then you have to shock your body by doing things
(exercise) differently. Do a different routine at the gym or afterwards go
walking, or cut it down from 4 x a week to 3 and walk one of those days.
Do whatever you can to do your exercises differently. Good luck and God
bless!

Try uping your protein intake a bit and changing your workout. Perhaps try
the eliptical and add some weight more weight training. Our bodies are
designed to hold on to fat and sometimes you need to play a few tricks on
it lol. Everyone hits plateaus, I hit several myself before making it BELOW
my initial goal weight. Don't worry the slowdown will pass, I know I felt
as if I was a WLS failure a few times and I am sure others did/do to.
Welcome to the losing side!

Hi,
I was about that weight at 6 mths. My total weight loss is 215lbs. It
will move again, just your body adjusting.
