Question:
Tampa FL area

I'm not in your area but I have been there I'm four years out. and I had gained back 30 pounds. Start at the begining again small meals, vitamins, plenty of liquids and lots of exercise. The bigest problem most of the time is being board and eatting to many small meal. I just took off 10 it comes off the same way if you go back just a little slower. Anna

Jen I've added you to my Friends list. But we need to get you motivated again. Try to attend the Florida OH Conference and start attending as many support groups as possible.And join a gym. Which said is easy, but if money is a problem try the local YMCA. They offer a Scholarship Program which is a pprigram that allows everyone to attend for a little if not free and no one is ever turned away. I'll hopefully be hearing back by 3/30 about starting my OH Support Groip at the clearwater YMCA shortly.

Jen, I hope you got some answers yesterday from this same question, but let me advise you to contact your local major hospitals surgery clinics and ask them about support groups. They will not come to you, but some research and questions could produce a support group. Tampa is a big city, they probably have a few centers of excellence hospitals that have support groups, but you have to do the research and look. Take care, Patricia P.

YES I live in Lutz! I work very early in the day and can never make it to my support group because it is downtown and int he evening and I can't be up that late and get enough sleep to work. My days off rotate. Email me @ [email protected] and we can set something up. I am 2 years out- doing good and I want to stay that way.
