Question:
Any one have bad post partum depression after having baby.
My baby is 7 months old now, first it was postpartum depression, then postpartum psychosis. This is never ending and i need help please. — alicialeew (posted on March 14, 2006)

Hi, call your Dr!!! I had severe pp depression after my last daughter, I
didnt even want to be left alone with her. Luckely mine passed in a few
days. Please call your Dr there are meds that can help, and it doesnt mean
your weak or crazy. I wish you the best.

I agree with the above, call your Doctor. PP depression is common in women
after they give birth... and there are meds and things that can help. Best
of luck, and congrats on your baby! :)

the pasts governprs wife of NJ, Sen Codey, is a very outspoken leader on
the topic and he legistlated special help, contact her thru him at the Nj

If you are telling me you have PP psychosis.... RUN don't walk to a
psychiatrist.This is extremely dangerous to you and your child your
judgement may be impaired. Please seek out help!!

Alicia, my heart goes out to you. Please seek help immediately from a
professional ... The first place to start is with your doctor, but if you
are feeling desperate, you can call 911. I checked myself into a
psychiatric hospital for 6 days when my second daughter was 2 months old
and my husband left me ... I was put on anti-depressants, and it was the
best decision I ever made for me and my daughters. Good Luck!!!!

I know that you already know how dangerous your symtoms are but how
courageous too in speaking and asking for help I give you credit. So please
listen to your love one and your friends you just met here at this site and
oviously at home. call your doctor. I know that you are going to be
alright.
