Question:
Is There a Lap Band Surgeon in Southern Maryland?

All the surgeons are either in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore MD area or surrounding metro. I hope to find a surgeon that does lapband surgery in Calvert, Charles or St. Mary's county. Thank you for any help you can send me since I do not drive.    — patricia (posted on January 17, 2006)

I live in St. Mary's County and the only surgeons are like where you mentioned in Washington D.C. or Baltimore.

I used Dr. Schweitzer in Baltimore (I live in Bowie). The hospital was convenient; right off 895 right after you go through the tunnel. His office is not so convenient (Timonium). I had a great experience and would certainly recommend him, though I know that it is a LONG drive.
