Question:
6 years after gastric bypass
I had gastric bypass 6 years ago and lost 136 pounds but in the last year or so I have gained 25 how do I get back on track? Also are there any protein drinks that taste good and don't have an after taste? — gammiepat (posted on October 6, 2013)

My husband and I had gastric bypass in 2001. About two years ago, I gained
back weight -- about 25 pounds. I lost it by walking daily, yoga, and most
importantly not eating anything fattening after 7 pm. I had drifted into
evening snacking and my weight went up. Many exercise classes are in the
evening, and education classes are good options too. You want to fill
those hours with ANYTHING that keeps you moving and unable to just graze
for four hours! Yoga has been a lifesaver for me. Best workout I've ever
had and I am NOT a physically active person by nature although I tried
everything before gastric bypass. Yoga nurtures your mind and brings you
peace. Plus you get a wonderful toning and flexibility. Hope this helps
-- I was very frustrated for awhile until I realized that I was not eating
during the day BUT eating TONS at night by grazing.

Did anyone send you any messages of forums to visit to help get back on
track? I'm looking to get back on track too.
