Question:
Surgery on Thursday
Hi OH! I'm having surgery and was wondering any quirky things you found helpful while you where in the hospita that might not have been mentioned by your MD? Thanks in advance! :0) — kellydenae (posted on February 14, 2010)

This may seem silly - but a fresh change of clothes (including undies),
soap, shampoo and slippers that you can walk in. They had me take a shower
- and I had no shampoo, and walking was the best thing you can do to recoop
-so slippers were a must. You will be in my prayers!

congrats!! i am 6 months out and 100 pounds down, bring slippers for
walking and your favorite pillow. I brought my bible, my cell and a journal
to write in. was walking the same day as surg, went in friday morn and home
on monday... never had pain, never used the morphine pump... no need to do
that if its not necessary.. the strongest thing i had was a tylenol... good
luck!
