Question:
Symptoms of a Band Leak?

How do you know if you may have a Leak in your Band? Are there signs or symptoms to look for? When I get a fill in doctors office and I drink the water he gives me to make sure I am tight enough but not too tight b4 I leave the office it seems I am right in the middle. Anymore cc's added may be too much but then dont want to take away any and not get good restriction. It stays like that for 1 day and then I go to almost NO restriction at all and I feel like I could eat whatever I wanted to with no problem. Anybody experience this or could this be b/c of a leak somewhere and the cc's he's injecting in are just slowly leaking out?    — ashley32n (posted on July 14, 2009)

I've never experienced it, but I do know that my surgeon withdraws all the fluid before putting more in to be sure what is in there is what should be there. Might want to ask your surgeon to do this.
