Yes, I have of this until my female hormones were adjusted. I also avoid
caffiene and get plenty of exercise and now sleep like a baby every night.

yes! I had my surgery on 2/19 and had insomnia until about 1 month ago. I
was given sleeping pills and everything, but nothing really worked. I was
told part of it is because when you're loosing weight you hormone levels
change and throws your body out of wack. I had to make myself get up early
and try to wear myself out during the day. I made sure I was in bed at a
decent hour so that I wouldn't sleep in the following day. Eventually
things did get better and now I hardly ever have a hard time sleeping.
Best of luck to you.

Yes! I had my surgery 12/9/2008 and 6 months later I still have trouble
getting to sleep. My NUT says that it is normal. It's getting better, but
I still have bad nights. My doctor gave me anxiety pills to take instead
of sleeping pills said it would help teach my body to relax. It's working
but I am still losing pretty fast so who knows...good luck to you! Let me
know if you find the miracle fix!

Magnesium helps me sleep! I take it as my last vitamin supp before bed!
Magnesium has a calming effect on muscles and relaxes you! Tis true!
Works great!

After LAP/RNY surgery on 2/15/07 - I had insomnia for over a month! I tried
everything, even went to my PCP for some sleeping pills, because I was
going crazy w/o sleep. It finally went away - but every now and again it
rears it's ugly head and I go through it for a few weeks. I try to exercise
more than usual, cut out all caffeine, take a hot bath, and if it's bad,
take of OTC - tylenol simply sleep. Good luck.
