Question:
Has anybody had experience with going out of the states for plastic surgery?

I would like to know what peoples experiences have been going out of the US for tummy tucks and breast augmentation and who whould you recommend?    — awjones30 (posted on August 25, 2008)

I have not had my plastics yet...probably in a year or two...but will have them out of the U.S. when I do have them. I have researched Thailand, India and Malaysia. All three of them are viable options. To have a TT, breast aug, and your arms done would probably be around $15,000 total (I'm guessing) in any of these countries...probably even less in India. I will likely go w/Thailand or Malaysia though. I live in Indonesia right now (won't be here when I get around to the plastics though...I'll have to come back this direction), and my dr here (American) has told me that both of these places have excellent medical care. India does too, but I was having trouble finding a good sounding place there. I had my RNY in Belgium (I was living there at the time)...and I'm sure they also have good plastics drs, but I don't know of any...and w/the exchange rate on the Euro now, prices will be higher. 2 years and change ago when I had my RNY, it was only about $14,500 in Belgium.
