Ayything you can put into the blender & liquify can be game. While I
was on my liquid stage I had chili, Smoothies, tomato soup.

There are so many cream soups that are really good! I really liked the
cream of broccolli, cheese soup, and tomato. I also had a friend who pureed
a Lean Cuisine meal of macaroni and cheese and ate that, and really liked
it. There are lots of options if you are willing to try something
different!

Here are some ideas for you. Fat Free Refried Beans with melted fat free
(or lowfat) cheese. You can also smash black beans or any other soft beans
- they have a good amount of protein. Eggs any way. You can also make egg
salad - use fat free mayo. Chicken or Ham salad as long as you make it in a
blender. Ground beef, ground turkey or ground chicken with any seasoning
you want to try. Put all kinds of cheese on everything to make it taste
better. Cottage cheese. Hope this helps!

At week 2 I'm assuming you're in the pureed stage. I honestly could not
puree my foods so I would mash them really well and made sure I chewed and
chewed. I would bake boneless, skinless chicken breast in a cream soup
(chicken, mushroom, celery - - non-fat) then I would use the
"gravy" over the chicken and my mashed potatoes. Baked sweet
potatoes, butternut squash, mashed peas, no sugar added applesauce - all
things that I ate while I was in the pureed stage. I didn't eat chili,
beans, cheese until I was in the soft food stage - but all doctors and
nutritionists are different. You could also liven up your protein shakes -
- try a vanilla protein shake, frozen fruit (peaches or berries), and some
ice all blended together until smooth. THe ice helps thicken it to make it
like soft ice cream. How long are you on pureed foods?
