Very normal. Your body thinks it's starving and is trying to adjust. Just
keep doing what you're doing and the weight loss will start again. I
promise!

okay...let's figure this out....14 lbs in 3 weeks...One week of no
loss...So that was 14 lbs in two weeks...THAT'S a pound a day...I can bet
you've never lost a pound a day on any other diet...Your body has to rest
from such a rapid loss...It will catch up...You are doing so great! Keep it
up and be patient sweetie...It all catches up and in a year, you will be a
happy much thinner person! Okay? OKAY!
Good luck...and enjoy the ride...Keep taking those vits, water and protein
supps...They help you lose and heal and keep you healthy!

Since you didn't mention which surgery you had ...I would still say that's
very normal......you body has to catch up with all that's happening.....I
hope you took your measurements....because there will be times you might
stop losing longer than that but you will continue to lose inches and go
down dress sizes.....

Very normal for a plateau at the 3 week mark. Keep doing what the doctor
ordered and it will happen. Your body needs time to adjust to the major
changes that are going on and sometimes goes into starvation mode for a
short time from the drastic decrease in caloric intake.
Do the right things and it iwll happen.
Good luck,

Hi ! I just went thru the same thing. I am 4 weeks post op and lost 15 lbs
the first week. then nothing for two weeks. I was dehydrated and needed
time to get the fluids built back up then I started losing again. I am at a
20 lb loss now. it is a slow process in the beginning I guess, but it is
coming off and maybe slower is better...just relax and get your fluids in!!
