As your stomach and intestines start to overcome the shock of your surgery,
they will start to work again-- unfortunately, it all doesn't always start
working again smoothly, so you could be feel cramping. Also, for me, I
found that I needed to drink room temperature beverages to help quell the
uncomfortable spasms-- for some reason, cold really bothered my system.

Your doctor is right!! I didn't go off liquids/baby food for almost two
months! You shouldn't be eating at all...think about it like this, you have
incisions in there, everything is bruised, swollen, etc. you could do some
serious damage if you try to eat...you shouldn't be doing ANY solids!

I agree with the other postings, also could still be some gas. Try some
walking and stretching as much as you can. That helped me along with Gas X
and Maalox multi symptom.
Feel better and welcome to the loser's bench,
