Question:
Could the weight loss stop my menstration?

I am 7 months out. I have lost just about 85 pounds. I am now on day 38 of my cycle and no period. I am not pregnant. Could this be a result of the weight loss?    — holmsey (posted on December 10, 2007)

Hi I had my surgery on June 25,2007 and I not had a period in 3 months but I had tubes tide in 1997 so I know I am not preg. My doctor not worried are body are changing. Good Luck.

Definitely. My period was totally whacky after op. I wouldn't worry about it. If you want/need birth control, some of the pills can probably help regulate your cycle. Take a test to make sure you aren't preggo, though...the first test I took was neg but I really was. :) Congrats on the WL! ~sarah

I am over a year out and still not regular! It sucks but take the bad with the good!
