Question:
does the VA do fills?
Now that the veteran's hospitals are doing the lap band surgery, does anyone know if they will do fills for patient's who have had the surgery elsewhere? — Azaria (posted on November 4, 2007)

I am just a veteran and certainly no expert on the matter but I believe
that you should have no difficulty getting such care at a VA hostital or
outpatient clinic, especially if you are in a VA Health Care System (HCS)
that has recently been doing bariactric surgeries. The VA does not care
about pre-existing conditions when it comes to providing health care for
veterans. Also, if you have a service connected disability rating of 50% or
greater, you may as well discontinue any private health care insurance you
currently have since your care will be entirely free if you fall into that
category. If not, I think the VA will still take care of your needs without
any prior approval by your private insurance. I hope this helps.

Thanx, I am going to leave a message for the Fayetteville Move program
ladies in a minute.
Dingell va, came through for me when I was discharged from the hospital. I
do not know if they helped me because I am a 100% service connected vet or
because I needed the meds but they saved my "bacon".
