Question:
Regence Insurance anyone?
Just wondering if anyone who has had RNY or any WLS surgery had coverage by Regence Insurance? I already had RNY but I'm wanting to have the tummy tuck and am curious if Regents would cover it should I end up with them as my insurance. — o2bnob (posted on July 10, 2007)

I dont have regence, but I wouldn't get my hopes up of them ever paying for
any kind of "elective" surgery. I have awesome insurance, and
unless, you are disfigured or something like that, almost all insurances
wont even touch you for "beautification" purposes. Your best bet
would be to do your homework, call your human resources manager, and ask
the dirty question. Don't be too disappointed when they turn you down time
after time after time. Rather focus your energy towards finding a quality
surgeon, who has a payment option, and work on that. Capital One also has a
payment plan for medical as well and they will loan with very few
restrictions. Just remember, what ever you pay for plastic surgery, you are
saving by not going through McDonalds anymore. You are still spending, just
on a much better alternative. Best of luck
