I am beyond those years, but I have heard it recommended to wait a year
before trying. I have heard also that it is possible to maintain your
weight loss as long as you a vigilant/diligent about what you take in. I
have heard babies are heathy & fine. I do not know anyone personally,
who went thru this, tho. The best to you~

the facility i'm going to have my surgery at suggests to wait at least
18months before you get pregnant. many people have noncomplicated/healthy
pregnacies after WLS. i have been told that if you get pregnant before the
18mo. you 1-don't loose as much weight overall, 2-risk harming yourself as
well as the baby and 3- higher chance of birth defects and miscarriages.
hope this helps, holly
