Question:
How do I

I have been looking on the clothing exchange and I have replied to lots of them showing my interest. I have never gotten a response. I am needing some clothes and was wondering if I am doing something wrong when I reply. I click on the name that is advertising and send a message. Is this the correct way to do it. I am in need of clothes size 22-24 womens. This is for now anyway. I hope someone can help me. Thanks!    — missyheffelfinger (posted on March 29, 2007)

You are posting correctly. It could be no one has had a chance to respond. Keep trying it does work.

Try going to your local thrift store (Goodwill & Salvation Army) I have bought a lot of jeans there for a couple of bucks a pr. Can't see spending the money on clothes that I will be shrinking out of in a month or less. Congrats on the need for smaller clothes... feels great doesn't it?

Hey slim...congrats to you! I agree with Kari....I live in Michigan and the local Salvation Army has been my new store. The prices can be quite reasonable for some things that you may only wear for a season or so. Good luck as you continue on this joutney to a healthier/slimmer you.

I buy my jeans and casual clothes at the Goodwill store. Jeans are excellent - usually good quality or fashionably shabby and $6.99. I usually go buy several sizes if I find something I like.
