The simpliest way to get the answers is to call your local government agency. The questions we answer here are normally WLS questions, but when it comes time for your type of questions just call them. However, why are u in such a hurry. It could take up to 8 months once you start the journey. Most insurance companies require 6 month controled diet from a medical doctor, then you have dieticans, shrinks, and scheduling. Good Luck

I have Ohio medicaid and have been denied 3 times already...They tell you that once you send all your paperwork from the doctor in it can take up to 6 months to hear an answer..I have been dealing with them since last July..My advice would be to get a surgeon and get the ball rolling now and see what they say...If you have any other questions you can email me directly.
