Yep, it's gas. My partners surgeon had her purchase some chewable
antiacids --ask your physician if you can have those.

Hi Darnell, I too had that problem and bought chewable Gas-X, works
wonders, plus if you buy the minty kind helps keep your breath nice!! Good
luck!!

When I was about 1 month I had the same problem. I was sick to my stomach
most of the day and would finally feel a little better later in the
day.....I finally realized that it was gas. During the day I sat at my
desk...and later in the afternoon I was walking more since I was done with
work. Walking helped get things moving. Took me about a week to figure it
out...then started using Beano. Still to this day when I eat some
vegetables I get that sick to my stomach feeling and just take some
Beano...within a short period of time...I'm fine. LAP RNY 12/22/05

Hi,
when you left the hospital did your doctor give you a prescription for
previcid? My gave me it to take everyday before each meal. ask your doctor.

Try sucking on a bit of lemon! It helps with any nausea. Also, my doc
gave me transderm patches and phenergan for nausea. The chewable Gas X and
Pepcid helps also!
