I know that often times people can get supplementary state insurance (i.e.
in NYS there is Healthy NY, Family Plus and Medicaid) and I believe that
they are available to people who otherwise have no insurance. I believe
there are available to people of a wide income range, not just low-income.
Try calling your local Department of Social Services. It's worth a try.
Good luck and Happy New Year!

Unfortunately Florida does not have a state pool health insurance program.

I am sorry to hear that Florida cannot help you out. I know that Catholic
Ministries often helps fund required surgeries. I'm just trying to help.

Maryland has that insurance as well. Even Kaiser states you are
uninsurable with all that advertising for insurance for individuals.
