Question:
how much would the injections cost without insurance?
question! I understand you have to basically get saline injections with the Lapband for awhile ? has anyone had the Lapband and then not had insurance to pay for the injections? what happens then? thanks! — kickstyle (posted on November 3, 2005)

You might post on the lab board and get more responses. But if your
insurance paid for the lapband I cant see them not paying for the
injections. But what came to mine is how far out are you? My injections
were 'covered' free by the surgeon as part of the original package. Follow
up after surgeon is included in the surgeon fee. and since the injections
were given in that time frame they were free too.

This question is hard to answer because of the differences in surgeons,
clinics and insurances. My first fill was free, then after that they are
$100 if done in the office, and astronomical if done in radiology under
fluoro. Fortunately, they are only done under fluoro if there's a problem.
I have asked this question before, and got as many answers as there are
Bandsters. :)
